(中央社記者呂欣憓台北3日電）韓國「中東呼吸綜合症候群冠狀病毒感染症」（MERS-CoV）疫情擴大，國防部長高廣圻已要求國軍相關單位召開會議，討論後續可能發展以及國軍應變狀況。
針對南韓MERS疫情的狀況，國防部發言人羅紹和今天表示證實，為防範未然，高廣圻已要求軍醫局及相關的聯參單位在1日上午召開「防疫整備會議」，就國外疫情可能發展、國軍防處應變作為及國防部應變指揮中心編組等事項，實施先期整備與作業研討。
羅紹和說，各國軍醫院及三軍衛材供應處已完成防疫物質檢整，包括負壓病房整備，以及N95口罩、防護衣等防疫裝備，可滿足國軍防疫需求及支援政府防疫任務。
羅紹和說，陸軍化學兵部隊亦可依狀況發展，投入消毒作業。1040603
